1. Our commitment

CodeFusion UK opposes modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and all forms of exploitation. We will not knowingly do business with organisations involved in such practices and we expect the same standards from suppliers we use.

This statement is published voluntarily to set out our approach. (Organisations with turnover above the Modern Slavery Act 2015 threshold have a statutory duty to publish a statement; regardless of size, we treat this as a core ethical requirement.)

2. Our business

We are a UK digital services business providing websites, software, hosting and related services from 10 Rectory Close, Alton Barnes, Wiltshire, SN8 4LE. Our supply chain is primarily technology providers (hosting, payments, email, software tools) rather than physical manufacturing.

3. Policies and standards

• We prohibit the use of our services for any activity that facilitates trafficking or exploitation (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
• We do not employ children and we comply with UK employment law for any staff or contractors we engage.
• We prefer reputable suppliers with clear compliance and data-protection standards.

4. Due diligence

When selecting material suppliers we consider reputation, contractual terms, and whether publicly available compliance information (privacy, security, ethical statements) is satisfactory for the risk involved. We will review concerns raised about a supplier and may cease using them if risks cannot be mitigated.

5. Reporting concerns

Anyone who suspects modern slavery or trafficking connected with our business or a hosted customer site should contact hello@codefusionuk.com immediately. In emergencies contact the police (999) or the Modern Slavery helpline (08000 121 700) / modernslaveryhelpline.org.

We will take allegations seriously, protect whistleblowers from retaliation where we control the relationship, and cooperate with authorities.

6. Training and awareness

As a small studio we keep this statement under review and ensure anyone working with us understands that exploitative practices are incompatible with our work.

7. Approval

This statement is approved by the business owner of CodeFusion UK and will be reviewed at least annually or when our operations change materially.

These policies apply to our UK trading activities. If anything in a signed quote or order conflicts with a general policy, the signed document takes priority for that engagement.
